I am a huge fan of smoothies and sometimes they are just too good to keep to themselves. Here is a healthy and refreshing smoothie. You may be asking, “What the heck is an avocado doing in a smoothie?” Trust me, you won’t regret it. Check out this article here about making better and healthier smoothies.
Super Green Smoothie:
- Needs Water or other substitute
- If you’d like it a bit sweeter, add raw honey, or more fruit
1 Cup Kale
1 Granny Smith Apple
1/2 Cucumber
1 Stick Celery
1/2 Cup Spinach
1/4 Cup Parsley
1/4 Cup Mint
3-4 Ice cubes
Directions:
Combine all ingredients with 2 1/4 cups of water into a blender. Blend until smooth.
